KSMA (1410 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a news/talk format. Licensed to Lompoc, California, USA, the station serves the Santa Maria-Lompoc area. The station, established in 1963,[1] is currently owned by Knight Broadcasting, Inc. and features programing from ABC Radio, Jones Radio Network and Westwood One.[2]

History

The station was assigned call letters KLVV on November 8, 1979. On August 22, 1983, the station changed its call sign to KLLB and on September 1, 1987, to KTME. On July 31, 2006, it changed again to KINF and on September 19, 2006, to KUHL. On January 27, 2009, the station changed again, this time to the current KSMA.[3]
